Clyde Connell, art and life

An astonishing feat, living alone on the shores of Lake Bistenau in the NW corner of Louisiana. The snarls and tangles of the swamp's limbs and roots beckoning the art right out of her, Clyde Connell creates her "Swan Songs" for us to marvel over. I wish I had made the journey to her cabin back in the day, but I did it just now through this amazingly insightful book.
